I don't like the way this works. There are a lot of pokemon that I really like that got dropped early on and near the end because they got matched up against another one I like marginally better, and a lot of pokemon which I only have a neutral opinion of (i.e. Snorlax) which ended up lasting until the end because they got matched up against shit like Garbador that I hate.
Though I suppose this generally represents my tastes well enough. I do have a preference for cute pokemon.
