>>38327786So after the loss of my starter, I'd been expecting things to start ramping up in terms of difficulty for the rest of the run. Then I effortlessly steamroll over Flannery. I guess that was kind of to be expected, with a highly experienced Water-type and all. But I knew for a fact that Norman was going to give me a rough time. I had to be prepared. And I was. And then that turned out to be a breeze too.
Aside from an early Spinda KO, Aron took pretty much center stage beating out both Vigoroth and Linoone in about two shots each. And then Slaking happened. The fight proceeds as followed:
>Aron dug a hole.>Slaking used Counter. Nothing happens.>Aron uses Dig.>Slaking is loafing around.Aside from him healing up twice and me needing to take breaks around loafing periods for replenishing moves and healing status effects, that's pretty much how the fight went. I beat the terrible Slaking by playing what was reverse whack-a-mole.
So, yeah. That was funny. Fifth badge down!
