gatcha but it does give you a means to farm money fairly consistently right after getting access to that, though it feels like an afterthougt in this game, Realidea feels ostensibly unfinished at certain points sadly.
Yeah, it feels really obnoxious sometimes, though I have a suspicion Valerie isn't as nice as she seems.
Yeah, that's the same concern I have, the gyms are way too overtuned for this point in the game. The Normal gym has a fucking Toxic Boost Zangoose that gets poisoned for free and it has Slash, Knock Off and Low Sweep, nothing you have by this point in the game deals well with shit like this. The puzzles just outright fucking suck and feel like massive time wasters.
On a final note if you want some cool stuff early, you can get some pretty wild stuff via using the monotype passwords.
