In the game the twist was that Pikachu was Tim's dad's soul inside of his Pikachu the whole time but Ryan is too white to be the dad of a nigger, so they're probably not going to pull the same twist again.
But it's going to suck no matter what because live action adaptions of popular anime shit handled by western companies always ends in disasters.
