If you want more starter options Oak offers you a special Pikachu or Eevee in Petalburgh Woods and you can find other starters at level 5 on various routes.

Difficulty is sometimes too much
Even with new areas sometimes 807 is too many
Can't be injected into the 3DS VC
Many new tiles clash with existing ones
Looker's and Anabel's OWs look unfinished
A few new sprites for Pokemon and humans look baddy bad
Graphical glitches now and then
NPCs pokemon can often be shiny for some reason
Mega Evolution is in but is broken
Most things are still in Chinese
Any trainer not from Hoenn is a bitch to fight
