I grew up with Pokemon and have played it since I was 5
I have played and enjoyed every mainline up to X and Y
I was the kid on the benches trading Pokemon at school with the other "nerdy kids"
Now I'm being driven out of my own fandom by a bunch of gooks who didn't like Pokemon until Go exploded. Excuse me for having standards for something I actually enjoy. Fucking assholes. You're right though, at least the Sonic fanbase is unified in that aspect. Pokemon fans are unironically WORSE.
