>>36333743>Let's Go isn't even a mainline gameNeither is Colosseum and everyone was fine with what it did.
>>36333806>it'd take a shit ton of effort to include XTell this to any developer from Nintendo and he'd slap you in the face.
Game Freak was allowed to relaese it's games on the great console that the Switch is, they are finally able to create a game for a hand-held style console with the power of a home-console.
They are finally able to give their fans whatever they want, they decided to go back to Kanto, they could fit in the tiniest details, like the nettles that the boy on route 3 came into contact with, the actual locations from where the Zubat are attacking you from etc.
When they created the Gameboy-games, they gave their best in reaching the limits of that console.
That something is hard to do doesn't mjean it should not be done, it would only justify a certain price.
And if you say you think the game is worth its money because of all the blood, sweat and tears that went into its development (even though there is a lack thereof), then buy it and tell your friends how great it is.
But making games for every Pokemon fan (and since this is a basic Pokemon game they should be able to do that and are responsible for that), which satisfies most of them is not achieved when you make a shit game because you're too lazy and greedy.
The original 3 generations were good for what they were, classical, simple and constantly improving in design, always keeping the very core idea of a rpg to catch pocket monsters, the next 3 generations tried to do new stuff and were good as well, they made the regions look different, changed design of the teams, the trainers, the pokemon etc. and it was liked by people for bringing in some fresh elements, not necessarily where imrpovement was needed or where people wanted it, but it was different.
Now game-freak thinks it can make a hybrid of an app for a smartphone and a chewed up version of the original games.
