I've come around to the 'Grass type WH40K Space Marine' look since it was initially leaked. Grass/Fighting is a decent offensive type combination.

Froakie was originally my first choice for a starter, but as I said above, I've come around to Chesnaught. I've heard that the Kalos starter weak to yours can be obtained in the post game so I'll get Froakie then, up until that point I'll use Clawitzer or Barbaracle. Only reason they're not in the pic is because I couldn't find any decent looking shots of them.

Until I see solid proof of Mega Galvantula, Mega Ampharos is my 6th gen electric type of choice. Ampharos was already pretty great, so I can't wait to see what it can do with boosted stats and a Dragon typing.

Because there are only two other new ground types (one is a legendary, the other is this gen's Bibarel) and Gible can allegedly be found very early in the game.
