We could have gotten the yoga granola sports-girl of pokemon, the femnine unevolved fighting type to contrast Machop and Makhuita, and the athlethic counterpart of Kirlia and Gothorita... but instead we got what most people think is a weird tail-less monkey on a diaper they would rather awkardly ignore until it goes away.
Poor Medicham has to carry the line on its own.
