1. It's too new. Every other franchise listed has at least a decade under its belt and thus all at least a few hundred monsters to work with. Palworld has only been around a single year and barely has more than a hundred.
2. Lack of variety. Even for its small pool of monsters, Palworld's monsters feel too samey. Over 20% of the pals in the paldeck are cats and foxes. That's ridiculous.
3. Lack of identity. Palworld is very clear on being a parody of Pokemon. That is fine, but it means it is absolutely lacking in identity compared to the other franchises here that have their own unique takes on monster design.
4. Lack of official art. The character models are decent enough, but would still look pretty bad placed among the 2D art of the other franchises. Every other franchise here has official 3D art for MOST of their monsters, though there are exceptions such as newer Yokai Watch designs are older Megami Tensei designs like in
