So the sort of items whose negative effects are ignored would be the Toxic/Flame Orb, or Iron Ball or something. Fling would be good with Iron Ball now, as a reliable 130 BP move if you wanted to use it.
A better movepool and an improved signature move would be appreciated also. I'd make Present a pseudo-Judgement by having type-related held items change its type and boost the BP a bit, damage related items enhance BP significantly and healing items (even held potions etc) turn it into a healing move that can target your ally or party pokemon. Miscellaneous or no item keeps the regular Present effect.
