>>14932128Aegislash's defensive and offensive abilities are lauded despite its mediocre STAB pairing, lack of a powerful physical Ghost STAB, and its endurance is exaggerated as its low HP offsets its defenses by a huge deal. Kings Shield also is a useless move because it doesn't stop non-attacks like Taunt and Will-O-Wisp and the things that Aegislash will have to fear most are non-contact moves. It will at best be a Spin Blocker but it has to compete with both Jellicent and Gengar, neither of whom it has much to offer over beyond its high number of resistances and a priority move.
