I did and went through the whole story with him. I especially remember finding the Pokedex entry for Gardevoir something special. I guess just how it went out of its way to show how much they care for their trainer. That stuck with me.

I caught him when I was about 13 or 14. I'm 27 now. It's been really fun seeing him get all sorts of cool things over the gens. Fairy typing, Mega, Ability Capsule letting him switch to Trace etc. I care about him a lot.
