Playing Platinum and finding out about a secret cave to get gibble early, it's such a cool thing more games should do, it's so neat to find this stuff way later.
Blue, Learning the Charmander is nice and all, but Bulbasaur was really fun and razor leaf could demolish everything, also using meowth my kid brain was blown away by pay day.
White 2, finding the Volcarona, again it's really cool to find these types of pokemon early, more hidden areas should be in the games, even if you don't uber powerful pokemon just give them neat things to find.
