>>24921631>Is it just me or is that Alan's Mega-Charizard insanely powerful? I haven't seen any Special outside of the Primal one but this dude looks a little too overpowered. He fights every strong enemy he faces whether he can win or not. Mega trainers, elite 4s, champions, legendaries, primals. Everything. He may have lost a lot but he did get stronger because of those losses and eventually got strong enough to take on elite 4 level. He's training like hell.
In return, he's not really happy. It's what happens when you focus only on fighting. No wasting time befriending COTDs or watching tripokalons. When he beat Ayaka, the only thing on his mind was having a rematch so he can fight again. It's why when they're shown passing each other, Ash was shown smiling with friends while Alan looks sad alone. It's also symbolized by Ash using a team while Alan only has 1 pokemon.
