Pokémon are shown snacking on people food fairly often, so I guess it's not too much of a stretch to say you could feed your giant snake footlong subs and wash 'em down with milk and that'd sate it just fine. You'd definitely have to feed it more than once every few weeks, though, a sandwich hasn't got a lot of calories compared to something like a Raticate.
