>>40469336Digimon World 1 is nothing like the later games. I hate to say it, but it's bad. Really bad. The concept is fine. It's a (somewhat) open world exploration game where you recruit different digimon to restore the starting town to its former glory, using wildly different methods. Its main flaws are translation issues, difficulty navigating a lot of screens, grinding and generally being unintuitive.
If you're the type that's willing to forgive a game that's poorly made because it has a certain charm, get yourself a walk through and have fun. If you (rightly) don't have the patience for that, give this kusoge a miss. It's completely stand alone, so jumping in on a later installment won't be a problem.
