Anything more is retarded filler. There are also a few exceptions: Arceus (it's God) and the Ultra Beasts (not Legendary).
Also, Melmetal has the stats of a Mythical, so it's fine under the pretense that it's Gen 8, at least until the actual Gen 8 Mythical comes around. To be honest, I prefer Deoxys and Volcanion, but I can't argue that Jirachi and Diancie fit the role more. Also both Victini and Meloetta suck, but I chose Meloetta simply because it has a neat gimmick.
