Decided to start a Nuzlocke of the romhack Red++. Doing the usual rules plus no items in battle and Set. Just got the first badge. Highlights:
>Not catching a Zigzagoon on Route 1 OR Route 2. By highlight I of course mean this is terrible.
>Mankeys are on Route 22. So were Meowths plus the usual suspects, so virtually every R22 Pokemon would have been good. I thought I'd have Rocky as back-up for Pewter but didn't use him.

>Kakunas (and Metapods presumably) still have Poison Sting and String Shot in their moveset even if you catch them naturally. Poison Sting is so weak that they're still pretty useless at this point though.
>The last Bug Trainer in the Forest is actually pretty tough because Weedles apparently learn Bite now too. Scarier than Brock was.
>Was offered a chance to trade a Pikachu for a Togepi in the museum but I wouldn't have done that even if I could.

Looking forward to the five new Pokemon I'll be getting before Misty. Hope I get some of the added Gen II/III mons if they're available... and not Togepi.
