It was excellent. People shitting on Alola kino were fucking liars. Ash was competent as fuck, he develops a good bond with all his pokemon and his strategies were good. I liked the cast though I do wish they caught more pokemon. Everything with Team Rocket was excellent. The league was not a meme at all.
The artstyle can be a bit rough but you'll get used to it, and it was never a problem in battles.
