These Pokémon are quite powerful despite their small size. Like Lucario, they can sense aura, just not quite to the same extent. They can see the emotion of others as waves. They feel more relaxed and calm in the day time. They are loyal and hard-working Pokémon. These factors are why a Riolu will only Evolve into a Lucario after gaining energy, during the day, while having a great bond with their Trainer.

This species has impressive prehensile tails, the tail has a hand, allowing these Pokémon to do all kinds of things. They also have big expressive eyes and a big near constant smile which makes many people happy. They are cute and playful, but can be a little mischievous too. With training these Pokémon are great for helping people at work, being pets or performing various Acrobatics in a circus.

They test their endurance by squeezing up against each other, becoming better at counter-attacks from this. Like Wobbuffet, they have great endurance and counter-attacking skills, this even gets them some niche use against powerful Pokémon in serious high-level competitive Pokémon Battles. There was even one Trainer who defeated a Legendary Pokémon with only a Wynaut.
