In the past the devs have come out and said "we cant have x features because we have to compete with other games and mobile", but then they turn around and waste their time on this shit, which is literally making a shittier version of another game within their game?
You know what I do when I want to play a trick-performing sports game (or an picture-taking game, or a Olympic sports game etc)? I play a trick-performing sports game, not a shitty stripped-down version in another game. You can't even use your own Pokemon or anything like with Pokeathlon so it doesn't even have the appeal of being some kind of immersive RPG sort of thing.
The rest of the trailer was standard low-effort third version stuff that isn't worth getting excited about. Hey look, you get to catch Larvitar for the 5th time! When we literally just released Gen 2 VC today too!
