On top of all that, Fairy has an immunity, which Water doesn't, and Fairy gets to carry Moonblast which remains at 95 base power even when Surf/Ice Beam/Flamethrower/etc were nerfed to 90.
Physical Water types ARE better than physical Fairy types because Play Rough is dogshit, but Fairy is better in every other regard.
