This is the first gen that I've taken competitive battling at least semi-seriously.
But he keeps getting his ass beat in rating battles and Battle Maison.
The 4x weakness to Fairy definitely hurts, given that Fairy is the newhotness. Getting 1HKO'd by fighting types doesn't help either. I gave him Poison Jab thinking that would give me some anti-Fairy powers, but since he's so slow, I'm pretty much going to get 1HKO'd before I ever get that attack off.
Anyone having better luck? He's too slow to hit first and he always gets murked before he can hit the opponent.
