So unless the author had some asspulls prepared, it pretty much stopped at the final arc of the comic.
I personally find it a bit overrated and only "great" by PMD comic standards.
The author thought it was a good idea to write it so that
every Pokémon game + spinoff (including XD out of all things) + anime + movies happens in the same world. And while interesting on paper I felt like it resulted in a mess that hurt the story more than it helped.
But the main thing I disliked was the protagonist. Not that she is a bad character (she is not), but she has almost no agency on the plot and is just carried left and right by it. I couldn't help but see her in a very similar light to Kairi from Kingdom Hearts in the sense that a lot of shit happens because of her, but said shit happens because of who she IS rather than what she does or says.
Heck, the only contribution to the plot I can remember her having in the final arc is
shouting at a rock.
Granted, I have only read the comic once and it has been ages since then. So maybe I misremembered misinterpreted stuff and am just talking shit.
