They often have line breaks that could easily act as endpoints for chapters. It seems to be a somewhat common complaint anytime the story comes up.
The angle they went with for legendaries was kind of interesting but it feels like the story keeps narrowly avoiding writing itself into a corner, only to turn towards another corner with some other distraction. I'll keep reading it but it's like sitting on a seesaw with some of these later chapters.
