They brought in shadow Pokémon as a way to "counteract" the gap created between tryhards and spoofers (and that sure turned out well...), and now they're adding a new character as an excuse to explain what the Hell Ultra Beasts and wormholes are.
The more I stay on /pgg/ the more I begin to believe that this entire game is just a front for data-collection and whatever heart or soul the devs want to put into the game is only ever added whenever Hanke specifically NEEDS it in the game.
