Psychic: Intelligent individuals who tend to have a talent in controlling magic spells from spell books or illusionary magic(Mages/Spell casters/Wizards/Magicians). Although spell casting just highlights the intellectual aspect of the type. Nothing can master the casting of spells more than the smartest of the average man.
Fairy: Supernatural beings that can somewhat emit their own type of magic. Either holy(light) or enchanted(sparkly fae) magic that can cast the impossible. Some creatures from fae can even create magical material from scratch. One of the Fairy type’s basis: the moon rabbit, where known to create magical potions that could grant immortality. That’s only in the Chinese story though.
The difference between those types is that psychics tend to borrow the knowledge of summoning magic to channel them. While fairies can already emit their own magic and use them differently for good or bad.
