>>40207816Rhyperior is somewhat overdesigned, but it's real glaring issue is the total lack of structure. It stands out wildly from its pre-evos in terms of shapelessness. 'perior's legs seem bolted on as an afterthought to the undersides of a torso too large for them. The upper arms are hilariously tiny and skinny relative to the massive, chunky, again rather formless forearms. The next has vanished and take the chin with it. The spine of this creature must be totally compacted. There's no aerodynamicity, being overly broad and without contour.
What's interesting is that if you were to read out a bland description of Rhydon and Rhyperior on paper, you wouldn't necessarily catch much difference. Yet in the subtleties lies an enormous gulf that yawns between a design that is fun yet functional and just awkward.
