Got a Zubat in the sewers, and it died within seconds. It's fine, I already used one in BDSP.

Not much happens after that, as I elect to skip most of the Desert (A Sandile get though) and the Relic Castle for now.

Realize Joltik has X-Scissor and Energy Ball, try to deal with it using Memga, get paralyzed (I completely forgot that Gen 5 still let you Paralyze Electrics, otherwise I would've been doing that too).
Switch to Lupi, more Paralysis induced, Joltik V-Switches to Flaaffy that was not prepared to deal with Digs.
Thunder Wave the Joltik just for good measure and finish with Memga.
My team was absolutely loaded for this one, so it's no wonder it went smoothly. I guess one benefit to Challenge Mode is higher level caps allowing evolutions like Stoutland already.
