When Ruby/Sapphire came out all my friends in class all had it too so we all experienced it together and played with each other. Although I was disappointed with the lack of day/night as well as not being able to use my favorite kanto/johto pokemon, being able to have your friends secret base and trainer uploaded to your game was a ton of fun. I remember right before we all stopped playing one of my friends got a gameshark and we all downloaded our favorite kanto and johto pokemon. By the time emerald came out, we all stopped playing and moved onto the Xbox 360 which had just came out. Good times bros....the feels...
