To try to catch a wild Pokemon, you need a starter. No one would give you a starter, because you're an ugly incel freak. And you're not going to "befriend" any Pokemon: wild ones fight you when you approach them according to the canon, and even if you somehow got a starter Pokemon it would never respect you, just like women don't respect you because you're an ugly friendless freak.
This leaves you starterless and pokemonless. Until you can demonstrate a way that you would get your first pokemon, you are INVOLUNTARILY POKEMONLESS.
