>>55371953I guess that's fair, it was sort of implied in BW already that Ghetsis just found this random child, adopted him, and groomed him into being the King of Team Plasma. Bit weird that their hair is identical in color otherwise, which almost always promises blood relation in the world of Pokemon considering Hisui has ancestors that are almost identical to their descendants. Were they supposed to be related but Game Freak backpedaled on it because of the abuse? Kind of like how they backpedaled REALLY hard about Lusamine being an evil mom, even though again it was implied she wasn't always like that. At least Ghetsis is still an asshole without a hint of remorse about it.
Also speaking of N, I just thought about how dumb it was to let him go out on his own and experience the world because it basically undoes everything Ghetsis did to make N think Pokemon were oppressed and abused. Nothing was stopping him from talking to well-treated mons and shattering the illusion that they're all used like tools, the illusion that Ghetsis carefully crafted to make N think Team Plasma was trying to liberate Pokemon from human control. Dude should have just locked him up in a tower like Rapunzel kek
