used blunt rock when it came out. used sharp rock when it came out. stopped using tools after being disappointed I couldn't use wheel for hunting, didn't use tools for a while after that. years later when I was like 25 or some shit I used fire and pigments and herbs or w/e these new tools are called, they were alright but didn't really like where things were going after pigments and never played any of those that came after it through. especially one of the newer ones came out a year or two ago, I think it was wood? all the tree cutting and splinters and the way log rolling was, it was like wading through mammoth poop. felt like I was handling a stone tablet or some shit
my brother got shiny rock for christmas and used it in personal cave, watched a few hours of it. was legitimately impressed by what it is. actually looks extremely cool, with different colors and at this point it's like cave painting has been injected into tools. also collecting shiny rock as a team is great, no more gayass hundred hours of cutting down trees and burning yourself, it just isn't fun and it's what has killed resource value in tools for me. I'm at /cave/ rn because I'm investigating finding shiny rocks. you're all dumb croomer faggots that think this is a bad tool your tools have been getting trash for a decade. the limited colors is sad but whatever, the shine is good. this shit is what we were dreaming of back in 1.7M BC.
