Is it better to just throw tons of pokemon variety into each area and risk some bloat, some identity loss of each area, and balancing problems, to stretch out the game to be super duper long, or to just design the game with only a slightly higher than normal amount of pokemon and make some sort of wild area-esque thing where you can catch anything.
