>>52087859It's actually a lot of fun. The default is 100%, but you can turn it down to 50% or even 0% if you crave an additional challenge.
Alternatively, if you lose progress because you accidentally run out of battery or something you can turn the game to 200% EXP for a while to catch back up to where you were.
For the Sequel is a pretty decent RPG largely because it gives you a lot of freedom like that. Hate the town building minigame? You don't even have to see it once. Ignoring it makes the game harder, but you can either enjoy the challenge or tweak something else to make it easier again.
That's how the whole game is. It gives you the freedom to sculpt the kind of experience you want.
Out of all the RPGs that have come out in the last ten years, it's one of the few I like.
The fact that every female character has hips wider than her shoulders helps too.
