>>48524267>starter evolutions can be literally anything they want, even if it wouldn't actually be possible in reality.>Pokemon is a fantasy game, dipshit. No shit, if the leakers are true I just want a somewhat reasonable explanations. If Not, I want the new forms to at least have a decent or good designs so I can happily look the other way.
>>48524568>These are Pokemon, they "evolve" from one form to another in 5 seconds. Them adapting to a different environment could happen literally within a generationThis has to be bait, first
>Them adaptingThey didn't adapt which is why they died and only anger brought them back to life...jesus. Why or how do you think this is a gotcha moment? The explanation they gave for the forms seems reasonable(for Pokemon standards) of course when a Pokemon dies they turn into a ghost you idiot. How exactly does this prove any of my points wrong? Unless you're trying to tell me that your Quilava will die mid game in front of your face and comes back as a hisuian typhlosion which would be okay but wouldn't really explain Decidueye turning fighting type or Sams going dark.
However, one idea I would except (Not fully like, but except) If they had this one feature where you can send your starter off into the wild by their selves for a day in any location you like and they come back either a higher level or evolved. But when you send a specific starter to a specific location they come back as a hisuian form. Which is kinda dark noe that I think about it since it implies quillava didn't adapt but the other two did. They leave everything ambiguous and make you have to think why the forms accrues not to mention giving us the option to opp out of the forms if we like the regular versions instead. Anything close to this is fine for me.
