At least, that's in an ideal world. In an ideal world, people could have thread about Gens I and II without people bashing on them for being 'genwunners', Gen III threads without people coming in and bashing on them for being 'hoennbabies', Gen IV threads without people coming in and being all 'Sinnoh sucked!', and Gen V threads without people bringing up Trubbish, Vanillish, or whatever.
But this isn't an ideal world, it is /vp/. That said, just hide threads if you don't want to see them and mosey on along instead of taking the time to bitch and moan.
As for the very notion of circlejerking? Isn't it a huge double standard to complain about that when just as many people will go about doing so for OTHER things? What honestly makes instances in this case worse than any other if there is indeed circlejerking?
