I've been working on this mantis themed fakemon and I'm having a tough time figuring out its head. I'm trying to find something that's not too human but not too bad looking; all my attempts keep coming out as either Lurantis or a Sonic OC. I'm trying to make it look like its got long hair like a Heian period woman or a Yurei but it's tough to make something long and flowing out of bug parts.
I've thought of putting wings on its head as hair; I thought it might be interesting if when it flew and its wings would flow behind it like a ghost's long hair.
