Holy shit Misty just tore my teams to shreds.
Had to grind Manectric and Steelix up to scratch when Rival managed to kill off Umbreon and Flygon in the Mt Moon battle, then take Misty on, Manectric gets outsped and OHKO'd by Hydro Pump when I thought he would go first but managed to take down Politoed and Lapras with Thunder, then Slowbro fell to a crit Thunderbolt from the Starmie as well after I'd spent 4 turns Calm Minding.
Bring Togekiss in and kill off Starmie and go for the kill on Lanturn, knowing I had no one else to balk the hit, managed to do about half health and get the burn with Tri Attack before Thunder takes him out.
In comes Arcanine to finish off Lanturn and then gets killed by Golduck the next turn with Water Pulse when I forgot he was banded and I'd used Close Combat.
Bring Crobat in expecting to miss the Hypnosis and manage to take out both Golduck and Vaporeon using only Crobat.
So I've gotta rebuild quite badly, and can't be bothered doing my template so heres the team after Misty and the box, who should I train for Surge? First 4 responses pick.
