They're the pokemon company. If anything they're worth more than Nintendo itself at this point. They can do whatever the fuck they want to get the resources and skill they need and the botw comparison isn't meant to say its supposed to look or run as good as said game but to point out what the system can and is capable of doing.
The reason why the comparison is used is because s/v run so fucking terribly while looking and running worse than a literal gamecube game.
The fact that PLA exists is a testiment to the fact that this all boils down to team mismanagement. It was by no means perfect but s/v feel like they're still in alpha testing in comparison.
