How did this historical revisionism start that graphics matter in Pokemon? Seriously. Pokemon has never looked as visually impressive as its contemporaries on any generation and somehow nobody ever had a problem with it until SwSh happened.
The D/P remakes are clearly going for a specific aesthetics that is an upgrade from the originals but still faithful to the chibi style. The actual battles basically look exactly like SwSh or LGPE. I really don't understand why people are losing their shit because they don't look like BotW or something. What the fuck did you expect?
All the other criticisms can only be considered speculation/predictions/rumors at this point because we only know what we have seen. It's too soon to be saying "well uh yeah but it won't have X and it won't have Y and they'll butcher Z and it will be casualized" etc.
You guys are supposed to be Pokemon fans but you're acting like teenagers who get excited about how realistic the new Cawadooty is every year.
