I remember us talking about that sequel, and I've given some thought to it since then. I'm still interested in writing something like that, and I've already spent some time outlining it and thinking over how it might go. However, there's one thing standing in the way of it: a story about a Combee that I've had on hiatus for months at this point.
I can't let that story sit unfinished, so I want to get it done before focusing on anything new. To that end, I've been trying to complete and proofread it--and most importantly, convince myself it's good enough as is, and I should just post it already instead of fretting over it even more.
Come to think of it, if I focused on it, I probably could post the next chapter of that on-hiatus story later today after giving it one more once-over. By now, I've probably worked out all the kinks I can possibly find by myself, so I think it could go public as early as today if I just bite the metaphorical bullet already. But I make no promises.
Either way, I do still have an interest in that sequel idea, and that'll most likely be the next thing I work on if and when I ever finish this Combee story.
