>>43130356It's sad because it really seems like they have a knack for writing alright stories if the past game is considered. It's recently where they geared towards the "smartphone kids" as an Anon rightly put it earlier, it gives them the excuse to focus on RNG raids and online battles as postgame instead of worldbuilding or expanding. Not once after I've finished the game have I ever decided to visit the towns or routes. It's just been the wild area, battle tower and nursery in route 5. That's it. There's no love for the region or the premise or tried to deliver.
