Today wasn't a good day. Lost three partners in one session. Helen and Bacon died to the unfriendly to fire-types place that are Routes 113 and 114, both during grinding sessions. Helen died to a Spinda using Uproar and Bacon died to a Seviper with a combo of Poison Tail and Wrap.
However the worst loss of all was Corrientes. He died during the battle against Flannery's Torkoal. She used Attract to immobilize him and a combo of Sunny Day and Overheat to deal the deadly blow. If he hadn't missed the one attack during the turn she used to set up, I probably would have been able to beat her.
Anyway, It's time to face that motherfucker of Norman and his stupidly strong Slaking. I'm gonna grind so that all my pokémon are at least level 32 before going in. Also, welcome Lilly the Lotad, Fang the Zubat and Lonja the Spoink to the team.
