Just finished a playthrough of Red.
Team felt a bit boring aside from Golduck and Rapidash but it worked well enough. It does help that I've never used a Gengar in Kanto until now - I usually tend to stay away from using Pokémon that feel a bit generic (Nidoking/Gyarados/Alakazam/etc.), but apparently I included Gengar in that group despite never using it in the first place.
