The entire lore surrounding Guzzlord's world still gives me chills to this day at that.>Really cool lore in Alola besides UBs>Memorable cast of characters (for the most part)>Totems and trials were a great break from gyms>Story was the only well thought-out one in Pokemon history (Gen 5 almost had a good story but it was ruined at the end by Ghetsis being cliche evil)>Genuinely funny moments with Team Skull, no Pokemon game has had good humor besides these>Fun mini games like Mantine surf and Ultra Warp Ride>SOS battles were a good new mechanic for capturing wild Pokemon with good stats or rare species>Quality OST>Didn't mean anything but gen 7 being the last games with a complete dex is worth notingConversely, I never see anyone with a good reason to hate gen 7 besides
