>>48739001I tried BDSP on ryujinx and I actually enjoyed the game a lot - I haven't played Pokémon in a long time and to me it has that old classic feel that I like. I was considering buying a switch lite just to play it and other future Pokémon games that might come out, but after learning that this game is locked at 30 fps on the switch, I'm just not gonna do it.
I can't justify buying a console that's gonna give me an objectively worse experience than what I can emulate on my PC (where I can get buttery smooth animations at 100 fps) with no upside whatsoever. I'm not saying I demand to play jrpgs at 100 fps, but 30 legitimately feels archaic in current year. The only "advantage" of playing on the Switch would be to catch legit Pokémon and trade/fight with your friends, but I'm not paying for Pokémon Home + Nintendo online services either. It all just seems like a fucking scam at this point.
All I want is a decent portable console with a good Pokémon game to play, but that's apparently too much to ask. Feels bad.
