>>43792287Overall pretty good breakdown, but calling Samurott decent is a dealbreaker. Water and Grass starters are overall pretty good, so i'll give it a shot.
>BlastoiseAgreed. The cannons always irked me, it ruined Wartortle and the other 2 starters are way better. 5/10
>FeraligatrBland as hell, and the Toto line is a bit scattershot, overall, but at least its innofensive and looks bulky and menacing as it should be. 6.5/10
>SwampertAwesome and original Base Animal inspiration. Awesome and original design too. Strong and Monstrous done right. 9.5/10
>EmpoleonAlso a favorite originally, but it honestly IS kinda blunt and tacky with its theme. Still cool, but it cuts some points. 8/10
>SamurottDesigner pretty much threw darts in the dark due to severe creative slump and it really shows. I'm not a fan of heavy Anthropomorphization, but Swordsmanship is an art that was made for a human bodytype. This thing simply doesn't work. It looks clunky in stills, but seeing it in motion makes it look like it wants to be put out of its misery. 4/10
>GreninjaYou also hit the nail. Normies finally chose right. A neat blend of wide appeal with Odd and Creative elements. Iconic in every way and easily a Top 10 Pokemon. 9.5/10
>PrimaIt's... neat, i guess? Has some tacky stuff like the Hair, Hairbeads and Starfish, but it's slightly justifiable. Looks nice. I love the very seal-like mouth it has. 7.5/10
>InteleonOne of the only pokemon i actually began liking more after scrutinizing the design. All the hidden gadgets and abilities are very cool, but its shortcomings drag it down too much. I've had a Basilisk pet before, so i don't mind its limbs, but the neck and the dumb guideline between the eyes really kill it for me. If it fixed those things it would be up there with Swampert in my eyes. 7.5/10
