I can't focus anymore, man. I can't think straight anymore, I CAN'T SLEEP ANYMORE!!!
All I've been thinking about for the past two weeks is how it seems like everything is pointing to the June Community Day being for Deino.
Here are the clearly insane connections I have drawn so far:
>Niantic knows a lot of people have become upset with the changes to Community Day, so an actually exciting Pokémon would maybe help quell their frustrations.
>They are also trying to get people to go back outside and meet people again, and what better way to get people to coordinate than with a Community Day that is not only a rare, highly-sought after dragon, but also one that could pull significantly more weight in raids than anything since Gible Community Day?
>Speaking of Gible Community Day, that Community Day also took place in June and was promoted after Niantic received tons of frustrated feedback from players due to how crappy the past few Community Days have been.
>Both I and many others have noticed many reportings of Deino and even Zweilous being found in the wild, which is incredibly odd given how it was really rare back in 2021... Just like how Gible was considered rare back in 2020.
>Both have also been featured in raids at a similar rate a proportional to 2020-21 for Gible and 2021-22 for Deino, with both of them being dangled over whales by Hanke for their shinies to be snagged from his ivory grip.
>We also haven't seen Deino in GBL rewards since December, which is odd considering that you can find it in the wild as a very rare spawn. Axew seems to have taken its place, and GO Fest seems to suggest it's also on track to be a 2023 Community Day shiny in the same way.
>In Pikmin Bloom, the next featured flower will likely be the Hydrangea, and the Community Day for that flower will likely also occur on the same day as the Pokemon GO Community Day, as it has in the past. Hopefully I don’t need to explain the relevance of HYDRAngeas.
